As a recognized thought leader in sales compensation strategy and technology, Teanna has presented at Mass Technology Leadership Counsel, Vistage, Business Fundamental Bootcamp and various business podcasts. She has authored countless posts for sales compensation blogs and has developed an impressive following. She has hosted countless webinars on sales effectiveness and sales compensation.

Helping companies develop strategic sales compensation plans that align with the company’s goals to maximize revenues within the budget constraints is her professional mission. With over 20 years' experience in incentive design, management, automation, and best-practices development for various companies in a wide range of industries, she has worked with large companies including Time Warner and Staples, as well as small family-run businesses.

As co-founder of Makana Solutions, a pioneer in SMB (small/medium business) on-demand sales incentive compensation solutions, her leadership role in the design of Makana Motivator helped it become an award winning sales compensation management tool. She was a key contributor to product design, roadmap and strategy for the Motivator product line.

For clients, she consulted on all aspects of compensation design and management including analysis of sales processes, analysis of data for quota setting, salary benchmarking and administrative process improvements.

She lead sales compensation consulting teams at, Kenexa and Cornerstone Software. She provided compensation consulting and compensation domain expertise and guidance for all aspects of customer relationships and software development at Centive, a groundbreaking provider of sales incentive compensation solutions.

Past leadership roles included managing a team of compensation analysts, programmers and implementation consultants for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), now HP.

She holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Salem State College in Salem, Massachusetts and a Master of Science degree in business management from Thomas College located in Waterville, Maine.
